AGENDA for the 56th Annual General Meeting to be held in

the McGrigor Hall, Fourth Avenue, Frinton-on-Sea on 21 April 2018
at 10.00 am

Coffee/Tea will be served from 9.30 am


1 INTRODUCTION

Chairman to welcome everyone to the meeting, and report on the year's activities.


2 APOLOGIES

To receive apologies for absence.


3 MINUTES

To approve the Minutes of the previous AGM held on 8 April 2017.


4 MATTERS ARISING

To consider any matters arising from the previous meeting which are not

covered by the Agenda.


5 ACCOUNTS

To approve the Accounts for the year to 31 December 2017.


6 APPOINTMENT OF AUDITOR

To appoint an auditor for the year to 31 December 2018.


7 ELECTION OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEE MEMBERS

To elect a President, Honorary Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Honorary

Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Committee Members.


8 DATE OF NEXT MEETING

To agree a date/time for the next AGM.


9 ANY OTHER BUSINESS

The AGM will be followed by an Open Meeting during which Sgt Pete Gerard, Essex Police, will talk on "Local Policing Issues and the Role of PCSOs" and Councillor Nick Turner will provide a presentation on "The Vulnerability of The Naze to Erosion/Flooding and the Threat to the Sewage Works".

After the speakers, there will be an opportunity to discuss Residents' Issues, and PCSOs will be present at the end of the meeting to enable residents to have a personal discussion regarding policing issues.
